SMOKING — Just when we thought the smoking issue was under control, it has reared its ugly head once again.
• Pot smoking falls under the same category as cigarette smoking. It is not allowed in the building or anywhere on our grounds.
• We are finding cigarette butts in the flower beds. We would like to think that our residents are not to blame. It is most likely caregivers and service personnel. Please remind your people to go outside the fence to smoke.
FIRE ALARM UPDATE — Phase 1 is now complete. All strobes have been replaced with a newer, louder model. The system was tested, and we found that there are still some dead zones where the alarm is hard to hear. This issue will be addressed when we get to Phase 3. RESERVING THE CLUBROOM? Please pay attention to the Rules on the Reservation form. There are a couple of things that seem to get overlooked:
• Building entry doors are NOT to be left open. It is your responsibility to make sure the door is closed at all times. You will probably want to have a greeter at the door to let your guests in.
• We have an occupancy limit of 60 people in the room. Please don't invite more than that. POOL RULES HIGHLIGHTS — You will soon be receiving a copy of the Pool Rules. The two rules we would like to stress are:
• NO GLASS, NO GLASS, NO GLASS — of any sort is allowed on the pool deck. This includes wine bottles and beer bottles as well as drinkware.
• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
FITNESS ROOM DOOR —
The code to the fitness room door lock is 7200. That should be easy enough for you to remember.
THANK YOU MICHELLE!
Michelle has been with us for 5 years now. She has been our go-to person for all sorts of things. Just take a minute to look at the pool to see her outstanding work. We can't thank her enough for her service.
IN MEMORIAM:
Sheila DelaHoussaye — Unit 202
There is no excuse for laziness. But if you find one, please let me know.
