June 2026

MAKE A NOTE — Here are some new e-mail addresses you should have. For security purposes we have created our own domain. The new addresses are: - Property Manager: propmanager@upcacondo.com - Accounting: accounting@upcacondo.com - Board: board@upcacondo.com • Please make sure you have the office phone number in your contacts: 504-256-7016. • Ingrid has started using text messaging for last minute notifications. Having the office number in your contacts will make it easier for you to know who the message you receive is coming from. Do not reply to the texts. • Updated rosters are now available in the office. WE JUST FOUND OUT — There is a new phone number for the JPSO Security officer: 504 490 3830. Please add this number to your contacts. IN COMMUNAL LIVING — We share all of our amenities - the pool, the grills, the club room, etc. And, yes, we also share luggage and grocery carts. While the carts may be stored at a certain entrance, they may be used by any resident, and not just those who have that address. All we ask is that the carts be returned to the storage area they came from. PLEASE WELCOME — Anita Zimmer has joined our team. She will be handling all bookkeeping and accounting duties. Please stop by the office to welcome her. TOWN HALL MEETING: Our next Town Hall Meeting will be Tuesday, June 23 at 6:00 p.m. If you have any specific topics you would like to discuss, please let Ingrid know . TENNIS COURT REPURPOSING COMMITTEE — The tennis court property has been a source of discussion for the last few years. We now have a committee in place that has been tasked with coming up with ideas for repurposing. Cost analysis is also part of the task. The Committee will make a presentation at the upcoming Town Hall Meeting. Committee Chair: Sharon Hannahan Members: Danny Albert(a new owner), Dottie Thieneman, Cindy Rittenberg, Lynne Higgins, and Susan Guidry. HAVE YOU NOTICED? We now have new pool umbrellas. We have also ordered matching lumbar pillows to go on the chaise lounges.( 4 have been delivered already) If you raise an umbrella, please be sure to lower it before you leave the pool area. People who wonder if the glass is half empty or half full miss the point. The glass is refillable.
